Clean frames and glass gently
Remove dust with clean water and a soft cloth before using a mild, pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents, and concentrated acids or alkalis. Rinse residue away and dry the frame, especially around corners and moving parts.
Keep tracks and drainage clear
Vacuum or brush loose dirt from sliding tracks and thresholds. Check sill outlets and weep holes for leaves, dust, paint, or sealant. Do not block drainage openings with furniture, flooring, or aftermarket strips that have not been coordinated with the system.
Check hardware and seals
Operate handles and locks slowly and note any unusual resistance. Clean visible rollers and hinges, then use only the lubricant recommended for the hardware. Inspect gaskets for cuts, shrinkage, or gaps and arrange replacement when the seal no longer compresses evenly.
Know when to call a professional
Contact the installer if a panel drops, a lock cannot engage, water appears inside, glass is damaged, or adjustment does not restore smooth operation. Keep the product model and hardware information available so replacement parts can be identified accurately.
